Anthony David Gonzalez was a tight end from American football who played for the National Football League. He was a 17-year veteran on the field. One of the NFL's most effective tight ends, and third-best overall receivers, he has been ranked as the NFL's top tight end by the number of receptions, yards he has received, made, etc.
Tony Gonzalez, former All-Pro tight-end for the Kansas City Chiefs as well as Atlanta Falcons, is currently working in the studio of FOX. Gonzalez, who has been associated with FOX NFL KICKOFF since this past season, serves as host of the program. The show is broadcast every Sunday morning at 11:00 am ET before FOX NFL SUNDAY.
Gonzalez was signed to a contract to the Falcons for two years and $14 million on the 15th of March 2013. The signing was in spite of being aware that Gonzalez previously stated that he was planning to retire following the 2012 NFL football season. Randy Moss retiring, Gonzalez's 37th season was his last as NFL leading receiver in yards.
